
Dr Chong has been practicing dentistry since 1997, graduating from the University of Queensland. He then went on to do a fellowship in England. He has a strong interest in preventive, comprehensive, and surgical dentistry, and is passionate about helping patients understand the value of excellent oral health. He works on the principle that lifelong oral health is fundamental to overall health and wellbeing.
While completing a graduate diploma at the University of Melbourne, he developed a special interest in implant dentistry to help people restore their smiles.
He has practiced in England and across many rural towns and cities throughout Australia, including several years with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, where he loved caring for patients and gained invaluable hands-on experience working in the outback. Before and after the RFDS, he worked in public and private practices, looking after the people of those communities with utmost care. During his down time, he loves to sail dinghies and pirate ships (ie. tall ships), snowboarding, anything to do with aviation, cooking and spend quality time with his family and friends.
