Veterans' Affairs

The team Hopkins Dental are delighted to accept Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card holders. The Department of Veterans' Affairs offers a range of dental benefits to its members such as x-rays, routine cleans, fillings and dentures, depending on your cover.

DVA Dental Service Eligibility

If you’re a gold card holder, the DVA will fund most dental services, as long as they’re deemed clinically necessary. These would generally include general dental services, the filling and crowning of teeth and the construction of dentures. If you’re a white card holder, dental treatments can only be provided if they relate to your accepted disabilities. Some treatments may require approval, so it’s always best to ask one of our friendly Dentists for advice.

What’s Covered

The level of cover differs between card holders, but on average, dental services like exams, cleans, fillings and crowns are covered. The dental treatment you require will depend on your clinical needs. Dentures are covered; however limits do apply so it’s always best to check with your dentist.
